Program
- A Scout led Troop using the Patrol Method and the Patrol Leaders' Conference.
- Implementation of National's Monthly Program Themes
- The Troop typically has one guest speaker per month at a meeting.
Outings & Camping
- Typically one outing or campout a month.
- Yearly camp outs include a minimum of Polar Bear, Winter Cabin Camping, Spring Camporee, Summer Camp and Fall Camporee.
- Summer Camp is a week long camping experience at Nationally accredited Boy Scout Camp. The Troop usually attends in mid-July.
Service Projects
- The Troop participates in many service projects during a year for various community organizations.
- Last year Troop 44 logged over 200 hours of service time.
